Education is (still) important

In spite of the current arguments that say a college degree is a bad return on investment, people with graduate degrees earn, on. average, $1 million more over a lifetime than people with a high school diploma.

how an education can change a life

In Regards to Education, There Are 3 Issues That I Am Passionate About:

College Affordability

A college education should not be a financial burden; either for the parents or the students themselves

Online Education

Online degrees and courses can expand accessibility and opportunity for a diverse student demographic in the 21st century

The Importance of a Mentor

As a 1st generation college student, I had very little guidance on how to deal with anything related to college. This ranged from the application to financial aid and even how to network and apply to jobs. I am currently serving as a mentor to current and aspiring college students who are in the same position right now.
